BIOGRAPHY
Douglas E. Ledlie is a Corporate + Tax Counsel at RWR Legal where he uses his extensive Tax Law experience to represent clients in corporate and tax matters. Mr. Ledlie’s experience spans several decades in which he has represented clients in general corporate matters and commercial transactions, including start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, and tax matters.
Prior to RWR Legal, Mr. Ledlie practiced in major law firms including Clark Thomas & Winters where he was Senior Partner and head of the Corporate, Securities, and Tax Section as well as his own law firm, the Law Office of Doug Ledlie where he represented clients for 25 years.
In addition to Mr. Ledlie’s Tax Law acumen, he has written 7 research books on the Texas Business and Organizations Code and Texas Tax Code. Mr. Ledlie was also the primary consultant for the development of a software program, Accessible Records, which is designed to assist small to medium sized businesses, such as small to medium sized law firms, in all aspects of their business.
Mr. Ledlie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the the University of Texas at Austin as well as a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin Law School where he graduated with honors. Mr. Ledlie also received a Master’s of Laws (L.L.M.) in Tax Law from New York University School of Law.
