BIOGRAPHY

Karen Davis grew up in the Denver area and began working in the legal field part time as a word processer while in college. After graduating from Metropolitan State College in Denver, she taught high school English and middle school language arts for several years in Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma before returning to work as a paralegal in western Colorado.

Karen’s litigation experience includes insurance defense, workers’ compensation, easement disputes, mechanic’s liens, employment and civil rights, water rights and general civil litigation. She also has experience with contracts, real estate transactions, Public Trustee foreclosures, LLC and corporation formation, and shareholder and stock records maintenance.

After moving to Texas with her husband, Labradoodle and lucky black cat in 2010, Karen worked for The Snell Law Firm for over five years, assisting with cases involving construction and contract disputes, class action matters, and personal injury. She spent two years with the Austin office of Andrews Myers, PC, where she assisted with construction litigation matters. Karen began working for RWR in August of 2017.

Karen likes to read, crochet and travel, especially to spend time with her two grown daughters, son-in-law and grandson.
