JACK K. REID

Litigation + Corporate Counsel

BIOGRAPHY

Jack Reid was born and raised in Round Rock, Texas. He has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin, and received his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. While attending St. Mary’s, Jack served for two years on the St. Mary’s Law Journal as a Staff Writer and an Associate Editor. The Supreme Court of Texas awarded Jack his license to practice law in Texas in November 2007.

Jack practiced as a contract and litigation support attorney for almost a year before accepting a position with The Snell Law Firm, where he was a litigation associate for three years.

As a litigator, Jack obtained positive results for landlords, tenants, contractors, homeowners, consumers and business owners. Jack primarily focused on business litigation, consumer disputes involving violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, landlord/tenant disputes (commercial and residential) and real property disputes.  Jack learned to consider client goals and resources in individually-tailoring dispute resolution strategies (including trial when appropriate). Jack believes that preparation and communication are the keys to success at all stages of the litigation process.

Jack founded The Reid Law Firm, PLLC in April of 2011.  Jack gained invaluable entrepreneurial experience and focused his practice on litigating real property and business disputes.

In 2014, following several successful co-counsel endeavors, Jack accepted a position with the RAM Law Firm.  Doing so enabled Jack to expand his practice into the exciting realm of entrepreneurial law.  Jack daily applies the lessons he learned as a litigator to draft business documents that avoid disputes before they start and to resolve disputes without resort to litigation.  Of course, when litigation cannot be avoided, Jack’s clients get the benefit of his courtroom experience and judgment.

Jack joined the RWR family in 2015 when RWR Legal acquired the RAM Law Firm.  At RWR Legal, Jack strives to tailor legal strategies to each client’s goals.  Jack is committed to providing the highest quality legal services to every client he serves.

In his spare time, Jack enjoys playing music and traveling with his wonderful girlfriend.
